Fall Scavenger Hunt

Event Details:

The Scavenger Hunt is super fun to participate in.  Teams of 2, 3 or 4 will be allowed. You can come prepared with your own team or we can pair you up once you get here. 

The Hunt details and rules will be announced at 4:30 pm and then off you go to search and find. The Hunt will consist of items to find around town and  items to take your photo with per the Scavenger Hunt guidelines.

You will have until 6:00 pm to find all of these items, complete the quiz and bring them back tothe venue to be checked for points.  The harder the item is to find -- the more points it is worth. Prizes will be awarded to the teams with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd highest points earned.

Once you get back to the Schopp's. Drop your Scavenger Hunt Bag with Deb to score and enjoy dinner prepared by Denise and Deb.  We are thinking Chili and Potato soup with all the fixins of cornbread, snacks, desserts and all the goodies to make your own smores over the fire.  

Timeline:   

  • 4:00 pm -- Appetizers served
  • 4:30 pm  - Hunt announced and starts
  • 4:30 - 6:00 pm   -- Hunters out hunting and 2 games for the non-hunters to enjoy for a chance to win Casey's gift cards.
  • 6:00 pm  - Hunters due by 6pm and Dinner is served while Deb and Charlette grade your papers.
  • Door prizes -- announced throughout the night. 

Please bring your own beverages, lawn chairs for the fire pit, blankets to drape over your legs, scarves, mittens, beanies etc to keep warm.  Denise and Greg also have two nice big patio heaters as well to keep us warm on the patio.

Disclaimer:

 

Both members and non-members should check in with the road captain/event coordinator as soon as they arrive to the meeting location/event.  It is required that the non-member riders and passengers sign-in and sign the release waiver to participate in the chapter event.  Per our chapter charter, and for insurance reasons, we are required to have 1 more registered member over the guest count(i.e. 15 members and 14 guests) at an event.  In the event that we do not meet these guidelines the road captain or event coordinator will ask the last guest to sign in, who were not pre-registered on DSMHOG.COM, to not participate in this event.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.
