Jolly Holiday Lights is back in Altoona

Come out and celebrate more than 20 years of holiday lights. Bundle up the family and enjoy a 2.5 mile ride through more than 100 magical light displays. 100% of admission fees go directly to Make-A-Wish® Iowa! Since it began in 1995, the event has raised enough money to grant more than 900 wishes to Iowa kids!

The price is $20.00 per Bike/Car

After we tour the Holiday Lights, we will be going across the street for dinner at the newly opened Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant​.

For the best viewing experience, it is suggested that we turn our headlights off.  We do not have a swith that controls the headlights so with a little experimenting, I found that a dark pullover hoodie worked perfect.  I put the sleaves around the windshield and used basic clothes pins to hold it in place.  You can use socks, gloves or something of that nature to cover the driving lights if you wish.  

If you don't want to ride, please join us in your car.
