Bring Your Thing BYT

A full day of us LOH gals to chat and craft at the same time. Or as the title implies – “Bring Your Thing” – whatever it might be – maybe you love to scrapbook, sew, crochet, knit, color, -- bring ANY project your want!!  Even bring a laptop to work -- it does not matter what your "thing" is!! 

Deb has bought new puzzles to work on this year and will have a puzzle table set up for anyone wanting to get their Puzzle Fix and she has her handy dandy puzzle roll up case so if you don’t finish - we can just roll it back out for the next BYT Day.

Door prizes will be drawn through the day as well – Deb has some cool new prizes this year to give away!!

Cost: $10 per person to help cover the costs for Breakfast and Lunch. Deb will bring breakfast items and have a lunch prepared.  Please feel free to bring a snack to share and your own beverages for the day!!

And this year we will have Make n' Takes for those that don't have a "thing" to bring.

Make n' Takes will be at an additional cost and limited.  Anyone that comes to BYT can sign up for the make n' take.  If you RSVP via HOGScan -- you will still need to reach out to RSVP for the Make N Take -- see below for more info. 

January MAKE N TAKE:  Alpaca Fiber Arts by Marilee / Framed Felted Picture    $20 day of event

Charlette's aunt has agreed to come and teach her felted picture class. Instructions will begin at 10am and will take at least 2 hours.

Cost includes:

1. Practice materials and instructions

2. Materials needed for picture of your choice*

3. 8x10 frame with 5x7 mat

* She will be bringing multiple pictures to choose from, but if you have something specific in mind let me know and i can pass it along.

RSVP: Please text or call Charlette at 515-250-7447 to reserve your spot. It is very important that you RSVP to Charlette directly so her aunt can bring everything we need.

Disclaimer:

Both members and non-members should check in with the road captain/event coordinator as soon as they arrive to the meeting location/event.  It is required that the non-member riders and passengers sign-in and sign the release waiver to participate in the chapter event.  Per our chapter charter, and for insurance reasons, we are required to have 1 more registered member over the guest count(i.e. 15 members and 14 guests) at an event.  In the event that we do not meet these guidelines the road captain or event coordinator will ask the last guest to sign in, who were not pre-registered on DSMHOG.COM, to not participate in this event.
